Performance Analysis for Road-Bioretention with Three Types of Curb Inlet Using Numerical Model

The FullSWOF-ZG (Full Shallow Water Overland Flow with infiltration determined by Zones and Grate-inlet submodules) program was used to simulate the road-bioretention (RB) stripe evaluate performance of RB three types curb inlet. revised from open-source FullSWOF-2D validation results indicated predicts accurately. model cases 27 different longitude slopes (S0), cross (Sx), inlet lengths (Lci) for undepressed, composite depressed, local depressed inlets were established in this study. Therefore, 81 total simulated explore type design parameter’s influence on performance. Overall, it found that bioretention control efficiency will increase S0 decrease, Sx increase, Lci increase. most efficient intercept road runoff into strip, next best is inlet, undepressed least efficient. grate combination able deal all surface small longitudinal slope (S0 = 0.1% 0.3%) relieve flood inundation.
